peanut butter cup brownies

Here is the direct link for: Peanut Butter Cup Brownies.

This pin comes from the blog, Baked Perfection, and the blog's author, Risa, loves anything chocolate and peanut butter together. She highly recommends these brownies, saying they are reminiscent of Buckeyes, a favorite Christmas cookie.

It is an easy-enough recipe. The base is a brownie mix. Risa recommends Ghiradelli Double Chocolate Brownie Mix and then baking them into brownie bites using a mini-muffin tin. While the brownies cool, a hole is indented into the center of each brownie, and a half teaspoon of peanut butter is spooned into it. And then you sprinkle semi-sweet chocolate chips and peanut butter chips a top.

The overall consensus of my family? Believe it or not, too much peanut butter! These brownies really don't need the peanut butter chips. In fact, I would probably like them better without and I usually LOVE the whole peanut butter-chocolate combination too.

Better luck next time.

Happy pinning!
